This page is a tribute to one of the greatest contemporary composers :
Martin L. Gore - Born in London, July 23rd 1961.

He has written the words and the music of more than 90% of Depeche Mode's material.
His songs, his voice and his lyrics really move me
and go a long way towards explaining why I'm a fan of Depeche Mode.

On May 27th 1999, Martin received the award for "International Achievement"
by the British Academy of Composers & Songwriters, at the 44th Ivor Novello Awards.

A lot less is known about his work outside Depeche Mode
so that is what I want to talk about here.
